Georgetown homeless village facing funding delay

GEORGETOWN — Springboard Collaborative and its mission to build a pallet village for the homeless population have encountered a delay in American Rescue Plan Act funding.

But it has not changed the goal to open the 40-person shelter this fall — a temporary housing program structured as a steppingstone to self-sustainability.
