DAGSBORO - Just over 200 Indian River High School seniors became Class of 2021 graduates Wednesday evening in an outdoor ceremony staged in the athletic stadium.
Class valedictorian Declan Burke plans to continue his education at Salisbury University while salutatorian Joseph Bird will attend the University of Virginia.
They were two of three student speakers, joined by class president Augustus "Gus" Fadden.
This was Indian River's 52nd commencement.
