DOVER - Demetric Isabell, 18, of Dover, was arrested for firearms charges after a foot pursuit Wednesday evening, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

Mr. Isabell was taken into custody without further incident following the foot pursuit and police said he was found to be in possession of 7.7 grams of marijuana.

Charges against Mr. Isabell included possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited (four counts), carrying a concealed deadly weapon, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $63,100 cash bail.
