Fleming files to run for 1st District Dover council seat
By Mike FinneyDOVER — Paul Fleming has filed a nominating petition to run for a 1st District City Council position.
His petition has been received and verified by the city clerk. The municipal election is April 18.
Mr. Fleming joins incumbent Councilwoman Dr. Julia Pillsbury in the race.
Others who have announced candidacy for the city election include Mayor Robin Christiansen, who will be challenged by Diana Welch in the mayoral race; 2nd District candidates Donyale Hall and Brian Lewis; 3rd District candidate and incumbent Councilwoman Tricia Arndt; and 4th District incumbent and Council President Roy Sudler Jr.
