Felton man charged in construction site burglaries

DOVER — A Felton man was arrested Thursday for burglaries at construction sites in Kent County, authorities said.

During the last week of November, troopers began investigating burglaries to construction sites in Kent County, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather said.

During the burglaries, a suspect would allegedly enter a residence under construction and steal new appliances and construction materials.

Following an investigation, Keith Biddle, 41, was taken into custody by troopers and transported to DSP Troop 3.

He was charged with third-degree burglary (three counts), second-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy (two counts), theft under $1,500 (three counts), theft over $1,500 (two counts), criminal mischief and selling stolen property.

He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on a $13,000 unsecured bond.
