Drive-through event supports therapeutic riding farm

Posted

REHOBOTH BEACH — Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding is partnering with Chick fil-A  on July 14 for their first drive-through event of the Giving Never Tasted So Good fundraising campaign.

Giving Never Tasted So Good allows diners presenting a flyer with their order to help SDTR by having a percentage of the price of their meal qualify as a donation from that month’s restaurant partner.

The area store of the national Chick fil-A chain is located at 19531 Coastal Hwy., Rehoboth Beach, and is a participant and contributor to local causes. Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding is happy to be opening their doors again and returning to providing support and therapy for individuals with physical and emotional challenges and their families, through interaction with horses.

To obtain their flyers, diners should go to SDTR’s website and click the “Events” tab. For those unable to download and print a flyer, contact Lori Chaikin of the SDTR office at lorichaikin.sdtr@gmail.com and arrange to pick up a flyer at the SDTR farm located at 17170 Harbeson Road in Milton.
