Downtown Salisbury parking garage to undergo structural maintenance and repair

SALISBURY — Salisbury officials said required maintenance and repair by a contractor has begun on the Circle Avenue Parking Garage which will continue for several months.

Officials said the repairs are necessary for the long-term viability of the structure.
During the work, some parking spots will be inaccessible, but officials said there will be more than enough spots to handle the current parking load.

In addition, the public should be aware that as work is done, the traffic flow on the top floor will be altered. Officials said to use an abundance of caution and be aware of pedestrians and other drivers as you navigate your way off the top floor.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and will restrict the disruption to the smallest possible areas at a time throughout the project,” city officials said in a statement. “Parking in the garage is perfectly safe and if you have any questions or concerns you can contact Parking Enforcement at 410-548-3195.”
