Drug charges follow search of room

DOVER - Deloris Unsworth, 42, of Dover, was arrested on drug charges Wednesday at the Kent Budget Inn, authorities said.

According to Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid, officers executed a search warrant at a room belonging to Ms. Unsworth at approximately 7:29 p.m. The search was part of a drug investigation, police said.

Police said officers located 12.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Ms. Unsworth was taken into custody without incident.

Ms. Unsworth was charged with possession counts including with intent to deliver a controlled substance in Tier 2 quantity, intent to deliver a controlled substance, controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, and drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $36,200 unsecured bond.
