Levy Court opened its meetings to the public June 2 at a limited capacity. With the state’s social distancing mandate of 3 feet in mind, 59 members of the public are permitted to attend meetings in the Levy Court Chambers. Full capacity is 200 people.

Levy Court is mirroring state guidelines, so members of the public who do attend meetings in person are asked to wear a mask — although temperature checks are no longer being taken upon entry to county buildings.

Meetings will continue to be livestreamed through Levy Court’s website.

Council meetings for Smyrna reopened to public attendance June 7. Those who do opt to attend in person are asked to wear a mask. Fully vaccinated persons are permitted to forgo masks.
