Dover man arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

DOVER — Gregory Bratcher, 60, was arrested by the Dover Police Department on drug charges following a traffic stop Tuesday.

Mr. Bratcher, a Dover resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of Loockerman and South New streets, DPD spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said. During a search of the vehicle, Mr. Bratcher was found to be in possession of 14 grams of cocaine, 3.2 grams of marijuana and $432 in suspected drug proceeds, according to police.

The suspect was released on an own-recognizance bond on the following charges: possession of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana (civil), tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic violations.
