DOVER — A 54-year-old Dover man was charged in connection with a Dollar General burglary that occurred on Feb. 28, authorities said.
According to Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman, arrest warrants were obtained for Ronald Matthews following an investigation of the burglary of the store at 282 S. DuPont Highway.
He was being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on unrelated charges when the warrant was obtained, police said.
Mr. Matthews was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft under $1,500, and criminal mischief. He was issued a $4,000 unsecured bond.
