Dover man, 28, dies from shooting injuries

DOVER - A 28-year-old Dover man died from injuries sustained in a shooting incident early Sunday, authorities said.

Jeff Tolson was found laying on the ground with gunshot wounds by officers responding to a shots fired report in the 900 block of Woodcrest Drive at approximately 2:48 p.m., Dover Police said. Officers began life saving efforts until

Mr. Tolson was transported to an area hospital, where he later died, spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.

No suspect description is available at this time.
