Dover male, 17, charged with murder

By DOVER - Tyre Blue, 17, of Dover, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder regarding a shooting incident on Thanksgiving day, authorities said on Wednesday.
Blue was taken into custody without incident on Wednesday, Dover Police spokesperson Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said.
Blue was also charged with possession offenses including firearm during the commission of a felony, firearm by person prohibited, and ammunition by person prohibited. of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was committed to Stevenson House on $150,000 cash bail.
Police said they had investigated the shooting death of Walter Pereira, 29, of Dover, who was found unresponsive in the unit block of Forest Creek Drive. He later died at an area hospital.
