Dover business burglarized, merchandise removed

DOVER - The Dover Police Department is investigating a burglary at Sully’s Vapor and Glass between Sunday at 7 p.m. and Monday at 8:03 a.m.

Spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said investigation began when officers were called to the business Monday morning. Officers arrived and located damage to the front glass door. Officers also located the glass cases inside of the business at 508 Jefferic Boulevard had been damaged, police said.

Police determined that after the break-in, a suspect or suspects removed an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the store, and fled in an unknown direction.

There is no suspect description available at this time.

Police asked anyone with information to call 302-736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted to law enforcement through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or online at delaware.crimestopperweb.com; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
