DOVER – Dover Air Force Base is scheduled to host the 20th annual Feed the Troops event on Wednesday, Dec. 14, beginning at 11 a.m.

The event is a partnership between the base and local community and includes multiple organizations and community leaders coming together to supply holiday-themed meals for the Airmen and families of Dover AFB.

The USAF Heritage of America Band will be performing carols during the event.

“Caring for Airmen is our top priority,” said Col. Matthew Husemann, commander of the 436th Airlift Wing. “Hosting this event for the last 20 years has been a great way to continue to care for the Team Dover family and celebrate the holidays together.”
