After experiencing his first snow emergency event as Dorchester County Manager, Jerry Jones had nothing but praise for those working behind the scenes.
“I’ve had the opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with our public safety folks at the Department of Public Works, during this storm, unlike we’ve seen in a lot of years,” Jones said. “They have worked hard, they have worked diligently, they have made our roads safer. It’s no easy lift; while many folks are home safe in bed, these folks are out in the middle of the night during treacherous conditions, getting the job done.”
