MILLSBORO — A 51-year-old Millsboro man was arrested on felony criminal charges following a Sunday altercation, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.
Authorities alleged that Stephen C. Grady stabbed one man on the top of the head with a screwdriver and cut a second man on the torso. The incident was reported at approximately 1 p.m. in the beach area of Sandpiper Road in the Pot-Nets Seaside mobile home park.
Police said Mr. Grady threw the screwdriver into the water before troopers arrived. He and the two other men involved received medical attention for their injuries.
Mr. Grady was charged with possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, two counts each of aggravated menacing and second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, Rehoboth Beach, and released on a $28,100 unsecured bond.
