DelDOT to host Del. 1 low-stress bikeways workshop in Lewes

LEWES – The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), along with its consultants, invites the public to attend a workshop regarding the Del. 1 Low-Stress Bikeways Study on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The public workshop will take place from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Cape Henlopen High School Library at 1250 Kings Highway in Lewes.

The public is invited to:

  • Review findings from this summer’s public survey
  • Comment on the results of DelDOT’s analysis of the degree to which different crossing locations along Del. 1 will help improve low-stress connectivity within the project area
  • Share their ideas and preferences for the locations of low-stress bike connections along Del. 1.

The workshop will also provide an update on the overall study and schedule.

Interested persons are invited to express their views and suggestions in writing. Comments will be received during the workshop. They can also be sent to DelDOT Community Relations at P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903 or emailed to dotpr@delaware.gov
