Delaware's DART buses on reduced schedule starting Thursday

Posted

Due to staffing shortages, DART will operate a temporary reduced schedule Thursday until further notice.

Routes 5, 6, 8, 18, 20, 31, 35, 43, 52, 53, 63 and 301 will experience a slight reduction in weekday trips. DART’s weekend service will operate normally. For specifics, visit here.

Statewide paratransit services will continue to operate regularly, as will the reservations call center.

The mask mandate for riders and operators remains in effect. DART continues with daily cleaning of all buses, including wiping down buses at transit centers, thorough vehicle cleaning at night and making hand sanitizer available on all buses. Capacity has been restricted to no standees.

DART said it will continue to monitor the pandemic through Delaware’s Division of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
