DOVER—The Public Education Compensation Committee will meet March 13 to continue discussions about the state’s existing pay structure for Delaware educators.
The meeting will be held in a virtual format via Zoom from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
During the meeting, the committee will discuss new salary policy options for educators and current benefits for public education employees.
After the committee discusses salary policy options, they will vote on which option to move forward with as the state looks to improve its public educator compensation.

Members of the public can provide public comment by utilizing the raise hand function on Zoom, or they can email tina.shockley@doe.k12.de.us with their name, affiliated organization and topic for their comment.
Following Monday’s meeting, the Public Education Compensation Committee will hold their next meeting April 17.
