Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition partnerships raise awareness, funds
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition recently partnered with community members to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer.
The FOR HER event was held Oct. 6 in Felton raising $8,200. The event was created to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, recognize and provide support to those who are fighting or have fought the disease, remember those lost, and acknowledge the fight against Breast Cancer.
The 3rd annual Hammer Down Breast Cancer tournament Oct. 5-6 raised $3,005 for the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. The organizer was Chris Holdridge and the host sponsor, Born to Game, hosted the tournament at their Middletown Store. The 21st Legion Wargaming provided attendees and support for this fundraising effort.
The recently established Anchored4Life Club at Dover Air Force Base Middle School held a fundraiser in October selling pink bracelets and raised $160.
