Delaware Beekeepers Association holding Beekeeping 201

DOVER — The Delaware Beekeepers Association will hold Beekeeping 201, a one-day intensive course for anyone interested in discovering the “sweet” art & science of beekeeping, from 8:30-3 p.m. Feb. 22 at the St Jones Reserve.

The cost is $85 for single registration and includes the book “Honey Bee Biology & Beekeeping” and lunch. The cost for a family of two is $130 and includes one book to share and lunch. Registration is nonrefundable, no exceptions. No walk-ins due to limited space.

The planned agenda, subject to change, includes:

  • Advanced Honeybee Biology
  • Integrated Pest Management
  • Pests and Pathology
  • Apiculture Management
  • Research Materials

A 2025 DBA Membership is required for registration
