Delaware Auditor-elect Lydia York to be sworn in at Delaware State University on Jan. 3

DOVER— Delaware Auditor of Accounts-elect Lydia York announced she will be sworn in at Delaware State University’s Bank of America Building Longwood Auditorium on Jan. 3, 2023.

Ms. York will be sworn in during a ceremony that will take place at 12:30 p.m.

Additionally, Ms. York has announced the establishment of her transition team. The committee will be co-chaired by current state Auditor Dennis Greenhouse and New Castle County Register of Wills Ciro Poppiti.

The committee will also feature New Castle County Auditor Robert Wasserbach; Lori Schneider, Auditor with Cover & Rossiter; Italo Carrieri-Russo, General Manager of Vincenza & Margherita Bistro; Dr. Debbie Harrington, retired Colonel U.S. Army; Dave Woodside, political advisor; and Leroy A. Tice, Esq.

Committee members will be tasked with assisting Ms. York in a smooth transition between the auditor-elect and current Auditor Mr. Greenhouse.

Ms. York has also named Erik Raser-Schramm to be her chief of staff. Mr. Raser-Schramm spent the previous two years as deputy chief administrative officer to New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer and has previously served as chief of staff to former Speaker of the House Robert F. Gilligan and legislative liaison to former Gov. Ruth Ann Minner.
