DOVER — COVID-19-related hospitalizations fell by 17 to 142 as reported in the Delaware Division of Public Health’s daily update Sunday, while the number of critically ill patients remained at 22 from the day before.
Four additional deaths were reported by the DPH, upping the state’s total to 1,422 since March 11. The ages of the victims ranged from 65 to 82 and all had underlying health conditions. Three Castle County residents died and one decedent was from Sussex County.
The state’s current rate of death per 10,000 people is 11, according to the DPH.
Delaware’s Personal Protective Equipment Inventory — including N95 masks, gloves, glasses and goggles, among others — remains stable with a supply of two-weeks plus of items available. Availability of ICU beds and ventilators remain stable, with 75% or less occupied.
