Central Delaware Habitat raises more than $10,000 in golf tournament

MAGNOLIA — Facing rising construction costs and supply chain issues, Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity took to the golf course to raise funds in its Golf for Good Inaugural Tournament on June 24.

Central Delaware Habitat, partnering with Delaware Golf Events, raised more than $10,000 during the tournament, held at Jonathan’s Landing.

Twenty-two teams of local golfers, residents and businesses teed off to support affordable homeownership in Kent County. The event is part of Habitat’s five annual fundraisers.

Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity strives to improve the quality of life of Kent County residents by providing strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter.
