The CenDel Foundation is now accepting applications for its Excellence in Education grant cycle.

Grants are open to schools, nonprofits and civic or community organizations for programs that foster workforce-development initiatives in Kent County, a news release stated.

Requests must be submitted on an Excellence in Education application form by mail prior to 4 p.m. Friday.

Forms are available here, under the “Apply for a Grant” tab.
To be eligible, organizations must be public institutions or qualified nonprofits with documentation of nonprofit status from the IRS.

Applicants will be notified of grant decisions in writing during the fall. For more information, contact excellenceeducationcentralde@gmail.com.

The Excellence in Education fund was created in 2019 and is made possible by contributions from the Delaware Workforce Development Board, the Kent Economic Partnership, the Greater Kent Committee, the Delaware State News and the Kent County community, the release said.
