ELLENDALE — Lifelong Republican and Sussex County resident Candice Green Wilkinson has announced her candidacy in the Republican primary for Sussex County Register of Wills.

“With the onslaught of radical policies coming from Dover and Washington, D.C., we need more committed conservatives in local offices to push back on government overreach and higher taxes, and fight for local control,” said Ms. Wilkinson, who filed Wednesday, May 11. “My reasons for running are very simple: I want to keep taxes and fees low in Sussex County and do what I can to ensure our county remains the best place in Delaware to live, work, raise a family, and retire.”

Greg Fuller of Lincoln previously filed as a Republican candidate for Register of Wills.

The Republican primary will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 13.
