Cambridge man shot in leg, police seek attacker

CAMBRIDGE — On Aug. 4 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Cambridge Police responded to the 600 block of Pine Street in reference to a subject shot. Upon arrival, officers noticed a man lying in the roadway with several people surrounding him.

It was determined that the 34-year-old man had suffered a gunshot wound to the left thigh. The victim said an unknown male had shot him, but could not give any further description. He was transported to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury where he was listed in stable condition on Thursday.

Prior to this call, officers received a shots fired call in the 800 block of Truman street and believe this incident may be related, a statement from the department said.
