Burglary at Dover Red Lobster under investigation
DOVER — A burglary at the Red Lobster restaurant at 271 N. DuPont Highway on Thursday is under investigation, Dover police said.
Authorities said an unknown suspect entered the business after breaking a window at approximately 4:46 a.m. The suspect then damaged a safe and a cash register, removing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before fleeing.
Police asked anyone with information to call 736-7111. Callers may remain anonymous. Tips may also be submitted through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333 or here; a cash reward is possible for information leading to an arrest.
