Burglary arrests made in Seaford

SEAFORD — Two Seaford males were arrested on burglary charges following a break-in at a business early Monday, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.

According to authorities, troopers responded at approximately 6 a.m. to the Tru Blue convenience store at 1611 Middleford Road for a reported burglary. Investigation determined that two males had forced entry into the business during the overnight hours and removed an undisclosed amount of goods.

Jermain Watson, 18, and a 16-year-old were later arrested in connection with the case, police said. They were charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree conspiracy, theft under $1,500 and criminal mischief. Mr. Watson was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $2,600 unsecured bond. The juvenile was arraigned in JP Court 2 and released to a guardian on a $6,500 unsecured bond.
