PRINCESS ANNE — St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church continues a longstanding tradition with Blessing of the Animals 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3 in the churchyard.

This is in commemoration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. All pets are welcome but have them suitably restrained either by a leash or in a carrier.

Service that Sunday at 10 a.m. includes Holy Eucharist with the Rev. Laura Dorsey presiding.

On Saturday, Oct. 9, parishioners and friends of St. Andrew’s are invited to turn out for the parish clean-up day. Call 410-651-2882 or email somersetparish@gmail.com for more details. The church is located between Church Street and Beckford Avenue, north of Washington Street.
