Benjamin (Benny) F. Moore, Jr of Camden, Delaware, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday April 24th, 2025.
Benny entered into the world on September 12, 1958, in Easton, Maryland, to the late Benjamin F. Moore, Sr, and Shirley Ann Moore.
Benny was an over-the-road owner/operator of JAM Trucking, and later in life became the owner/operator of JAM Truck Repair. He called Papen Farms home for the remainder of his career.
Benny enjoyed spending time in his yard with his wife Janine and the several dogs he loved to have in his life. He loved lima beans, tomato sandwiches, and helping his boys succeed. He will always be remembered for his overwhelming generosity, limitless capacity to love his boys, and how many more miles he forgot than anyone had driven.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his Aunt and Uncle (Eugene and Mary Moore).
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Janine Moore of Camden, DE; his sons, Wayne and Branden Moore of Camden, DE; his grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Jasmine Moore, Aubree Moore, and Jaxton Moore; his siblings, Francis (Butch) Moore, Michelle Weeks, and Cindy Warren.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 1, 2025, at The Harrington Moose Lodge at 2pm.
