Arrest made in Dover shooting

By DOVER — Alexander Singletary, 19, of Dover, was arrested Tuesday in connection with a shooting earlier this month, authorities said.
Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said a 20-year-old Dover man was shot in the face on Stevenson Drive in Manchester Square on Jan. 12. Following an investigation, Mr. Singletary was taken into custody without incident at approximately 2:37 p.m. Tuesday in Manchester Square.
He was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree conspiracy, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution, Georgetown, on $10,000 secured bond.
