Applications being taken for Smyrna Citizen's Police Academy

By Applications are being taken for the Smyrna Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy scheduled to begin April 10.
Sessions will from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays and be taught by police officers and guest speakers. Police said the academy will provide hands-on experience in the world of law enforcement, along with learning about operations, investigations, and arrest procedures.
