DOVER — Delaware Animal Services is seeking the public’s help with providing any information that may lead to identifying the person responsible for abandoning a dog that was found clinging to life earlier this week, and later died.
The female, medium-sized dog was left in a crate in the brush near the Del. 1 overpass off North Little Creek Road in Dover. She is estimated to have been approximately two years old, had very long nails and was wearing a blue, orange, and white striped collar. She did not have a microchip. Due to the dog’s condition the breed could not be determined.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Delaware Animal Services at 302-255-4646 or online. Tips may be made anonymously.
