28th Choptank Skipjack Race sets sail September 28th

The Skipjack Nathan of Dorchester hosts the 28th annual Choptank Heritage Skipjack Race at Long Wharf Park, Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
The Nathan will be among at least seven historic Skipjacks taking part in the seasonal rite of passage for the remaining few oyster dredging vessels which once plied Chesapeake Bay waterways daily.
