Volunteers wanted to cleanup Raccoon Point, Glenn Ward ballfield

WESTOVER — As part of Spring Cleanup Week, the Somerset County Health Department and Keep Somerset Beautiful are sponsoring cigarette butts and litter cleanups at Raccoon Point Park in Westover and the Glenn Ward Memorial Ball Field in Crisfield on Saturday, April 29, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Participants are asked to wear appropriate shoes, long pants and long sleeves. Raccoon Point is at the end of Revell’s Neck Road, and the Glen Ward field is on Old State Road.
