Tickets on sale Wednesday for Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. — The inaugural Oceans Calling Festival will bring headliners Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, The Lumineers and Alanis Morissette to the southern end of the Ocean City boardwalk Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

Fans will hear music from three stages and performances from over 30 bands, including Cage The Elephant, Cyndi Lauper and multiple sets from co-founders and local heroes O.A.R.
Grouplove, Logic, Young The Giant and Sublime with Rome are also part of the bill.

Three-day and one-day general admission, general admission plus, VIP and platinum tickets will go on sale Wednesday at noon here, with layaway plans starting at $20 down.

Oceans Calling will also bring a culinary experience hosted by world-renowned chefs Andrew Zimmern, Robert Irvine and Amanda Freitag, with cooking demonstrations that celebrate the Eastern Shore.

In addition, the Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park, inside the festival grounds, will be fully operational.

Premium ticket experiences start with general admission plus, offering fans a private lounge with seating; private, air-conditioned restrooms; and a full-service bar with beer, wine and cocktails for purchase.

VIP tickets add luxury with prime viewing for two stages, along with air-conditioned restrooms, a full-service cash bar, food for purchase at the Main Stage Lounge, complimentary water, dedicated lane entry and more.

Platinum tickets offer all the amenities of VIP and general admission plus, in addition to onstage viewing at the Main Stage, front-of-stage viewing areas, a complimentary full-service bar, access to the open-air Platinum Lounge with relaxed seating and more.
