Speak Up: Delaware’s Jewish observe Tashlich during Rosh Hashana

Members of Congregation Beth Sholom marked the beginning of the Jewish New Year on Sept. 26 by participating in Tashlich, a symbolic ceremony of casting away their sins from the previous year, at Silver Lake Park. Around 20 people of the Jewish faith gathered for the brief ceremony, which followed an earlier Musaf service at Congregation Beth Sholom in Dover, on a nearly perfect early autumn day, overlooking the lake.
