Man wanted for non-fatal stabbing in Crisfield arrested in Philadelphia

CRISFIELD — Crisfield Police report the arrest in Philadelphia of a Crisfield man wanted here for the non-fatal stabbing of another man at the Crisfield Housing Authority.

Burnzie M. Douglas, 57, as of Wednesday was going through the extradition process to return him to Somerset County to face first degree assault and related charges that occurred at Somers Cove last month.

Douglas is alleged to have stabbed a 45-year-old man during a verbal dispute around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22.
