LEWES — To welcome the warmer weather, the Lewes Chamber of Commerce has created a Spring Passport initiative. From March 20 until May 15, everyone has the opportunity to spend some time discovering or rediscovering what makes Lewes so special with their friends and family or solo.
The passport contains a list of 22 family-friendly, mostly outdoor activities including flying a kite at Cape Henloped State Park, taking a stroll to see the tulips and paddling on the canal.
Passport holders check off at least 10 activities and submit the completed passport to be entered in the drawing for three lucky winners to get Lewes swag and gift certificates. The three winners will be drawn on May 17.
Passports are available at the Lewes Chamber Visitor Center, at many Lewes businesses, retail and restaurants on both sides of the canal and at the Lewes Ferry terminal. It also can be downloaded from the chamber’s website.
Passport participants submit their completed passport at the Lewes Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at 120 Kings Highway, located in Zwaanendael Park or scan a copy and email it to inquiry@leweschamber.com. The deadline for entry is May 15 and only one entry per person.
