Now through New Year’s, angel ornaments are hung on Coastal Hospice Christmas trees displayed across the region — including the trees at American Legion Post 16 and the Elks 1044 Lodge both in Crisfield, and UMES in Princess Anne.
Each angel is personalized with the name of someone a donor wants to memorialize or honor.
While any amount is used to make an impact for patients in need, $75 funds grief support services, while $195 helps provide skilled care. A donation of $1,000 supports one day of inpatient intensive care or pediatric hospice while $4,000 funds a new AIRVO oxygen machine.
Last year’s gifts helped 1,270 Coastal Hospice patients and their families.
