CRISFIELD — Daisies are coming to Crisfield!

The Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay are looking for kindergarten and first graders along with adult volunteers to form and lead a brand new Daisy troop for the Crisfield community.

There will be a parent information meeting at the Crisfield Library on Wednesday, Feb. 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and everyone interested is urged to bring their kindergarten and first grade girls to learn more.

Girl Scout Daisy troops have been described as the one-stop program when it comes to building a young girl’s social skills, keeping her moving, and giving her an extra bit of stability in this ever-changing world. Whether she’s dreaming up a new toy, learning about bravery, or helping plant a garden, parents and guardians can rest easy knowing their girls are safe, having fun, and becoming their best.

For more information contact Charlene Phillips, volunteer support specialist, at 1-800-341-4007 ext. 208, or email daisytroop762@gmail.com for more information.
