Free dinner and a movie on the courthouse lawn Oct. 1 in Princess Anne

PRINCESS ANNE — The Town of Princess Anne, Princess Anne Police Department, Main Street Princess Anne and University of Maryland Eastern Shore are working together to host a night of family fun downtown.

Residents and visitors are invited to gather on the courthouse lawn, located at the corner of Prince William Street and Somerset Avenue,  Friday, Oct. 1 beginning at 5 p.m. for free hot dogs, chips, and drinks. There will be music by "DJ 9-1-1," which is Princess Anne police officer Rondell Redding.

At 6:30 p.m., the movie Home, rated PG, will be shown on an outdoor screen.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. In an effort to protect the community, masks and social distancing are strongly recommended. Visit Main Street Princess Anne on Facebook for updates.
