SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion in Crisfield has joined other regional locations to implement its Food Lion To Go grocery pick up service.

Customers can now order groceries online and have then delivered to their vehicle without having to enter the store.

Customers can place orders and confirm availability through the Food Lion To Go website and pick up their groceries on the same day or up to seven days later during the hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Savings for MVP card holders or through digital coupons can be applied at checkout.

"Continuing to expand this service to more Food Lion stores is important to us and our customers," said John Garlick, vice president of divisional operations at Food Lion. "We want to give neighbors the option to shop however they prefer, in-store or online, while still ensuring they have access to fresh groceries at affordable prices."

The company continues to expand this new service across its local towns and cities, highlighting its commitment to make grocery shopping easy, fresh and affordable. In addition to Crisfield, pick up service has started in Berlin, Cambridge, Federalsburg and Denton.

Food Lion, based in Salisbury, N.C., since 1957, has more than 1,100 stores in 10 Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states and employs more than 82,000 associates.

The Crisfield store at 1 Jacksonville Road, opened on April 28, 2010.
