Baseball launches inaugural Hawks Hardball Golf Open fundraiser Nov. 14

PRINCESS ANNE — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore baseball program will be hosting the inaugural Hawks Hardball Open Golf Tournament on Nov. 14, 2021 at Great Hope Golf Club in Westover.

The event will be in the form of a four-person team scramble with the entry fee being set at $80 per person. The cost includes lunch, golf, carts a goodie bag and prizes. Lunch and registration will begin at noon followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

Other features include: a 50/50 raffle, Mulligans, a long drive contest, closest to the pin contest and putting contest.

This is an activity of the UMES Foundation. Funds received will be managed by The University System of Maryland Foundation Inc. for the benefit of the baseball program.
