Road Work: Kent & Sussex Counties this week

Kent County

• Brenford Road between Ryan Road and Massey Mill Pond Road (Village of Eastridge). Daytime intermittent lane closure from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  for entrance improvements. Work continues until Dec. 31.
• Brenford Road between U.S. 13 southbound and Hickory Road (Willow Road subdivision). Intermittent lane closure 8 a.m.-3 p.m. for widening of the roadway. Work continues until Dec. 31.
• Brenford Road between Hillyard Road and Ryan Road (Auburn Meadows). Intermittent lane closures from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. for entrance/off-site improvements. Work continues until Dec. 31.
• West Dennys Road between Dover/Kenton Road and Maidstone Branch Road (49 Pines). Daytime intermittent lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  for entrance improvements. Work continues until Dec. 31.
• US 13 - Woodside to Tower Road & Clark St. in between SB 13 and NB 13 in Harrington. Lane Restrictions (night) Lane restrictions (day) Detour
  @ Irish Hill Road. Intermittent lane closures at night with shoulder and lane work in the daytime. Work continues until April 10, 2023.
• Mud Mill Road between Heron Circle and Mill Pond Circle for improvements to the dam at Mud Mill Pond. Work continues until March 14, 2023. 

Sussex County

• Cedar Creek Drawbridge (on SR36 east of Milford). Extended closure of the Cedar Creek Drawbridge (on SR36) to vehicle traffic due to a mechanical failure. The bridge was able to be manually opened to allow marine traffic to pass through and remains open which does require vehicles to utilize a detour route. The bridge will remain in the open position to ensure marine traffic is not impacted while the extent of the repairs is determined. Work continues until further notice.
• Arrow Safety Road between US 113 and S Bedford St. Park Avenue Relocation, Phase 1. Closure of Arrow Safety Road. Work continues until
  Feb. 1, 2023.
• Route 24 from Mount Joy Road to Bay Farm Road. New traffic pattern with lane shift 24/7 for roadway reconstruction. Work continues until
  Dec. 1.
• Blackwater Branch Road iIs closed between Delmar Road and N Spring Hill Road. Motorists traveling southeast on Blackwater Branch Road
  will continue on Rt 54 Delmar Road to Spring Hill Road making a right hand turn back to Blackwater Branch Road.
• Camp Arrowhead Road between Rt 24 & Jolyns Way is closed due to construction. Work continues until Dec. 16.
• Arrow Safety Road is closed between Dupont Blvd and S Bedford Street. All traffic from US 113 will need to utilize South Bedford Street Ext. Work continues until Feb. 1, 2023
