Nominations open for Delaware Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards

Nominations for the 2022 Governor’s Outstanding Volunteer Service Awards, which honor exemplary service and the true spirit of volunteerism by recognizing individuals 18 or older and organizations who are making a difference across Delaware communities, are open.

Nominations will close Oct. 13, and awardees will be honored at a reception Dec. 8.

Recipients must demonstrate the following:

  • Sustained volunteer commitment to meeting Delaware’s most pressing human and/or environmental needs.
  • Meaningful volunteer service that makes a measurable difference in the community.
  • Extraordinary acts of generosity and kindness, which, through volunteerism, have an impact on Delaware communities.
