Duck Creek Gardeners will hold plant, yard sale
SMYRNA — Duck Creek Gardeners will hold a Plant and Yard Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 at First Presbyterian Church.
Annuals, perennials, home grown plants and yard sale items will be part of the sale.
The Garden Club has 25 active members and part of the National Garden Club, the Central Atlantic Region of State Garden Clubs and the Delaware Federation of Garden Clubs.
The Mission Statement is to stimulate knowledge of Horticulture through community projects, protecting trees, plants, birds and national resources.
The group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month and are actively looking to increase our membership.
The club awards annually a $1,000 scholarship to a high school senior or college student in the Smyrna-Clayton area who majors in an agriculture-related field.
First Presbyterian Church is at 118 W. Commerce St.
