MILLSBORO — Local Jersey Mike’s franchises and Delmarva Rush Soccer announce a new, two-year partnership to support the club’s travel and recreational programs for local youth. 

The $15,000 sponsorship from Jersey Mike's will help Delmarva Rush cover operational costs such as securing practice and game fields, uniforms and equipment, and will also help underwrite upcoming tournaments.

Thanks to generous sponsors like Jersey Mike’s, we can keep our fees affordable and provide an inclusive, accessible environment where kids can learn and grow through the game of soccer,” said Eric Schweitzer, president of Delmarva Rush.

Mr. Mouly and Mr. Jobes own and operate five Jersey Mike’s locations on the Delmarva Peninsula with shops in Salisbury and Cambridge, Maryland and Millsboro and Seaford, Delaware. A new store is planned for Georgetown, Delaware opening in late 2025. 

Founded in 1996 as the Henlopen Soccer Club, Delmarva Rush joined with the global Rush Soccer organization in 2023 to provide an even better experience for its players and families. Delmarva Rush currently serves more than 800 athletes through its recreational and travel programs.
